How to use this tool
- Estimate the session length in hours. Decimal values, such as 2.5 hours, are supported.
- Enter your hourly rate, based on your costs and how you price your work.
- Choose a complexity coefficient and review the result before adding it to a quote.
Method and limits
The formula is time × hourly rate × coefficient. Simple uses 1; detailed uses 1.25; very detailed uses 1.5. These are this tool’s coefficients, not industry pricing standards. If complexity is already reflected in your time estimate, keep the coefficient at 1 to avoid counting it twice.
A worked example
A 3-hour session at €120 per hour gives €360 with the simple coefficient, or €450 with the detailed coefficient. Consider drawing time, supplies, your session minimum and applicable taxes separately. This tool currently uses euros.
